Cuenca (Athens of Ecuador) is one of the most visited cities of Ecuador in which we will visit the old and new Cathedrals, the City museum, the Modern museum, the Calderon park and we will have a quick stop at the Tomebamba river for a panoramic view of Cuenca. We will also visit the Gualaceo Valley and Chordeleg in which you can have the opportunity to buy gold and silver work.

Cajas National Park is located 29 km west of Cuenca. Its 250 lakes characterize the reserve with some of the species such as wild llamas, hummingbirds, toucans, Andean condors, spectacled bear, puma, and ocelots, that are more exclusive. After an early breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the National Park. We will make a hike through a primary forest where you can admire the variety of flora and fauna passing trough some of the amazing lagoons that this park has.

Ingapirca means “wall of the Inca”. It has become the most important monument of the Inca's Empire in Ecuador .because of its mysterious meaning. Some archaeologists think that the ruins were a Temple of the Sun for religious purposes. However, some other theories affirmed that Ingapirca was a Fortress. No one knows the exact function of these ruins and what still surprises is that its construction techniques our still unknown. Ingapirca is a powerful and sacred temple that should be visited if you go to Cuenca.
