Day 1 .- Arrival to Quito. Transfer in Hotel in Quito. On route your expert guide will provide you complete information about Quito and some important remarks about your trip. Over night at hotel of your selection.
Day 2 .- Quito-La Selva Jungle lodge. Transfer out national Flight Quito-Coca, (45 minutes). Once in Coca, we will be welcome by La Selva’ staff, which will transfer you to the river dock to board a motorized canoe and start a two and a half hour ride down river Napo. After, 15 minutes walk we will reach a paddle canoe towards Garzacocha Lake where LA SELVA lodge is located.
Day 3 through day 4.- Expedition at La Selva lodge . We will provide you many excursions to be chosen according to your interest and personal skills. All the expeditions are very flexible and it will be organized and managed day by day for you and your guide.
Day 5.- La Selva - Quito Transfer out national Flight Coca – Quito. Overnight at hotel of your selection in Quito.
Day 6.- Baltra / Plazas.- Transfer out national flight Quito – Galapagos (EQ191). Once you arrive at Baltra, our guide will be waiting for you to escorts you to SAMBA. In the afternoon visit to Plazas.
Day 7.- Charles Darwin Station / Highlands.- . Scientists from all over the globe work at the station and conduct biological research from anatomy to zoology. Get your picture taken with the giant tortoises at the Charles Darwin Station. In the afternoon visit to the highlands of Puerto Ayora.
Day 8.- Gardner Bay / Punta Suarez (Española).- Early in the morning, step onto Gardner Bay, ESPANOLA (HOOD). Walk along seemingly endless stretches of sandy beach where you’ll find colonies of sea lions. Swim and snorkel with the sea lions and enjoy the colourful diversity of sea life near Gardner Islet. In the afternoon we disembark at Punta Suasrez, ESPANOLA, where we witness the highest rate of “endemics” in the Galapagos. Sea lions noisily green us as we land on their beach. Curious mockingbirds peck at our shoelaces.
Day 9.- Punta Cormorant / Post Office Bay (Floreana).- Punta Cormorant (Floreana)is a beautiful white sand beach where sea turtles nest. Moreover we will visit the lagoon, where we find flamingos Afternoon: Visit to the Post Office.
Day 10.- Punta Moreno / Elizabeth Bay (Isabela).- Isabela is t he largest island in the archipelago that was made up of 5 shield volcanoes. You can see species such as giant tortoises, iguanas, penguins, flightless cormorants, Afternoon, Elizabeth Bay from which you will enjoy a panga ride.
Day 11.- Urbina Bay (Isabela) / Punta Espinoza (Fernanadina).- At Urbina Bay the guide points out the remains of sea creatures who were suddenly lifted out of the sea and left to die onshore. Afternoon visit Punta Espinoza at Fernandina Island, the youngest and westernmost island in the Galapagos.
Day 12.- Puerto Egas (Santiago) / Bartholomew.- After a dry landing at a Bartholomew Island, we will climb 30 minutes up a steep slope to the summit of a once active volcano. Pause along the way to marvel at lava bombs, spatter cones and cinder cones. From the top, gaze out across a panoramic view including the famous "Pinnacle Rock", an eroded tuff cone. Down below, crystal cleat water invites you to snorkel with schools of tropical fish. Penguins often swim in this area. On the other side of the Island encounter sea turtles and white-tipped sharks can be seen.
Day 13.- Black Turtle cove / Baltra.- After an early breakfast we will have a quick visit at Black Turtle Cove, admiring for its red mangrove lagoon and nursery for many sharks and rays. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Quito.
Day 14.- Quito / International flight . Transfer out international Flight
